Blue Bottle Coffee

can you say YUM!?!

This delicious coffee is the perfect grab and go for your morning commute or just to kick back and relax on your porch. I first came across this coffee one morning when working was the last thing I wanted to do (it was one of those mornings) the packaging caught my eye immediately. Not many coffee companies put their coffee into milk cartons, usually the cold brews are in a glass or plastic bottle. On a whim I decided to grab a carton to try out….WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE! The coffee is a perfect combination of bitter and sweet. What makes this iced coffee different from many others that we have all tried is that it’s New Orleans style. This style of coffee integrates chicory into it making the flavor very unique and incredibly smooth. You can purchase this coffee at local whole foods, online at bluebottlecoffee.com, or stop in at any of their cafés ( I will list the NY locations at the end of this post). The Interesting thing about Blue Bottle is while they are local to us New Yorkers, they originated in Europe in the late 1600s then made its way to California and FINALLY to us! There are only 22 Blue Bottle cafés brewing up unique and freshly roasted coffees worldwide and we are so lucky to have 7 of them located right here in NY. I recommend everyone check out the wide variety of coffee they have to offer , but this iced coffee should surely be the first thing you try!  The final note that I want to leave you on is that Blue Bottle prides themselves on the quality of their coffee and they are proud of what they create. Below is a quote directly from their website

Blue Bottle Coffee has grown to a small network of cafes, wholesale partners, an espresso cart, and some vintage German coffee roasters. We are still united by the simple purpose of getting great coffee to everyone who asks for it. Improbably and delightfully, there are hundreds of us now. We roast coffee on vintage gear, put it in compostable bags, and still get it to our customers within 48 hours. We roast great coffee on two coasts, make great drinks, clean up after ourselves, bake cookies, type up invoices, get change at the bank, and say please and thank you. We offer the elderly and pregnant our seats on the bus and brush and floss daily. We look forward to seeing you soon.

I hope that you all get to experience the HEAVEN that is Blue Bottle.

Keep On Keeping On
